OUR PHILOSOPHY Our Philosophy at Alexander House is to use only the best of local seasonal ingredients. With this in mind we produce menus to enable us to utilise the best produce as it comes into season. We strongly believe in supporting the local Sussex economy sourcing the majority of our produce from Sussex, mixing these ingredients with imagination and flair we have created a selection of dishes which reflect seasonal Sussex dining at its best. AG ' s is a sophisticated 3 AA Rosette Restaurant where the food is imaginative and our commitment to quality is unrivalled.
We take influences from classic dishes, work with innovative cooking techniques and use our South East environment as a basis for our food philosophies. Our menus are inspired by the countryside, woodland, land and field and we bring dishes to life through clever use of colours, textures and theatrical presentation.
REFLECTIONS RESTAURANT Inspired by natural colours and modern day simplicity, Reflections is perfect for a more relaxed style of dining. The restaurant has an open-air courtyard and showcases a robust menu filled with home-grown favourites.
THE TRADITION Each of our dainty desserts are handmade by our in-house pastry chefs, sandwiches are served on beautiful homemade bread and all of our preserves are created by us and we have even teamed up with the very quirky Brighton based tea company, Metro Deco, to offer you an outstanding selection of fine loose leaf teas.
This delicious experience can be served with chilled Champagne and enjoyed by guests popping by for the afternoon and those staying on an overnight break at Alexander House. Afternoon Tea is served daily from 1.00pm until 5.30pm and can take place in one of our intimate lounges or if the weather allows, in our beautiful reflections courtyard or south lounge gardens.
