Developing new friends is one of the many advantages of studying in Australia. Whether
during lectures and tutorials, at faculty functions or more casual events, there are numerous
opportunities to extend your friendship group. Many other students will be in the same
situation as you and will happily strike up a conversation. Joining clubs and societies on
campus is an effective method for making friends with similar interests, passions and/or
