How do I set up a bank account?
This step is easy. Simply head in to
a bank and let them know you’re an
international student and would like to
open an account. They will be more than
willing to help. You will need to bring
photographic identification, proof of
enrolment and proof of your Australian
address. You will be provided with access
to a savings account, and will receive a

How do I control my student budget?
Managing money is a crucial concept to master as soon as possible. Living out
of home for the first time means you have to take much greater responsibility
