Eastwell Manor
Eastwell Manor is a four AA red star country house hotel set in the heart of the
Kent countryside.
Executive Head Chef, Byron Hayter, is passionate about food and its
provenance, searching the local area for the best possible produce from local
farmers and suppliers. Byron is an active participant in the UK wide culinary
scene, competing in the BBC’s Masterchef, becoming a semi-finalist in the UK
Chef of the Year Award and being a Gold Award winner in the Senior Chef of the
Year competition in the Channel Islands.
The Manor Restaurant: The stunning wood-panelled Manor Restaurant has
been voted fifth most romantic restaurant in Britain by The Times and accorded
two rosettes by the AA. With its massive open fireplace and superb views
overlooking the gardens, the wonderful ambience is enhanced by a pianist
playing the grand piano at lunch and dinner every day. The menus change
according to the seasons and market availability with innovative and varied
dishes using Channel caught fish; game from Eastwell Estate and Godmersham;
locally reared lamb, beef and rare-breed pork, together with Kent grown
vegetables. All are complemented by the scrumptious desserts and petits fours
that are also made in the Manor’s kitchen.
Private Dining: The outstanding food produced by the Manor’s kitchen can also
be served in one of the exclusive wood-panelled private dining suites which are
ideal for a private party or special occasion for groups of 2 to 80 people; your
guests will feel utterly privileged.

scones are served with jams and curds which are also made in-house. Choose
from a wide selection of speciality teas.

and groups of friends or colleagues. Open 7 days a week from 7:00 to 21:30 (last

dinner with seasonal menus designed by Byron. The dishes are made in-house
using the freshest and best local produce.
The Manor Bar offers an excellent range of cocktails and spirits including an
impressive selection of whiskies. The wine list in both restaurants is extensive
and varied with wines from classic wine regions and the New World.
