Fruit Garden Café Being cider makers as well as apple growers, at Kentish Pip we have a passionate interest in how the different varieties of apple influence the taste and personality of our cider. Each small batch is individually blended to enhance the characteristics of a well-balanced still cider. Formed in 2010, our growing selection of ciders are available across Kent and selected pubs and restaurants in London. The iconic characteristics of Kentish Pip can be captured through the distinguishing seasonal blends. Our original Craftsman cider is a blend of cider and dessert apples blended to provide a full apple flavoured medium dry cider - available all year round. Wild Summer creates a light, zingy flavour through the freshly picked steeped elderflowers. Our aged Vintage cider delivers a full, balanced, deep flavour, whilst the Forager, a ruby coloured cider is blended with mellow autumn hedgerow fruits. For the winter, Firespice offers that warming comfort of ginger and our home made spice recipe, which makes for a superb mulled cider when heated. Available in bottles and bag in box to buy through our website, or pop in to see us at the farm shop and café. Woolton Farm Bekesbourne Canterbury, CT4 5EA @KentishPipCider sales@kentishpip.co.uk 48 We focus on uncomplicated food; cooked and prepared on site using fresh local produce and our own grown fruit. The café is set in the fruit gardens of a 15th Century thatched barn and is a place to relax and enjoy the beautiful and historic surroundings. As you settle in and look around, you will see that this is no ordinary place. There are fruit trees and plants of all shapes and sizes, a fruit display garden, and inside the barn you can’t help but marvel at the ancient timbers and architecture of the building. The fruit farm and plant nursery where the café is based is also the home of Kentish Pip Cider, so you can sample the different ciders and purchase them on site, as well as our trees and plants.
