The George Hotel Dating back to the early part of the 15th century, the George Hotel is an oak beamed, traditional coach house and reputed to be Ashford’s oldest Inn. Located in the market town of Ashford which sits in the heart of rural Kent, with The George Hotel ideally placed in the centre of the town, the perfect base from which to explore the natural beauty of the county’s historic cities and towns, beaches and rural settings. Our restaurant specialises in home cooked traditional British fayre. The menu includes British favourites which are cooked to order, including homemade steak and ale pie; bangers and mash; fish and chips; ham, egg and chips and daily changing specials. Thursday is our steak night serving a range of locally sourced British beef steaks. Traditional Sunday Roast with a choice of meats, freshly cooked for our lunchtime service.
