The Great British Kitchen at Leeds Castle
The Great British Kitchen is an evening bistro located in a converted
barn within the stunning grounds of the 900 year old Leeds Castle.
Whether you are staying at Leeds Castle as an overnight guest or
visiting as an evening diner, the Great British Kitchen offers the
option of a light meal or a hearty three-course dinner.
The oak-beamed 17th-century barn offers diners a relaxed
atmosphere in this historic setting. The Terrace provides the perfect
position to watch the sunset on a warm summer’s evening and the
Castle is beautifully lit at night all year round.
The seasonal restaurant menu has been designed to offer a taste
of the best of British using the highest quality local meat, including
English Longhorn beef, bred in the surrounding local countryside.
The Great British Kitchen bakes its own bread and cakes with the
freshest ingredients. ‘Kent’s Best Invicta Ale’ from Faversham is used
in the pies and herbs are cut fresh from the Castle’s gardens for the
dishes.
