Another of Kent ’ s most historic and iconic country houses , Salomons Estate has chosen 2023 to welcome guests for stays at four new self-catered holiday homes . The Garden Cottages are now available to book for relaxing staycations , business trips or short and long-term lets . All four cottages are dog friendly and include a fully equipped shaker-style kitchen , a stylish lounge / dining area with gadgets and modern amenities , as well as a double bedroom and an ensuite bathroom each .

The floral namesake cottages , Peony , Honeysuckle , Lavender and Rose , are delightfully quaint , freshly refurbished and cleverly hidden amongst the rambling gardens of the estate . Relax and unwind in your own slice of rural paradise as you experience Salomon ’ s fascinating history , sure to keep you enthralled throughout your stay . Once belonging to the estate ’ s gardening staff in 1890 , each cottage has been beautifully restored to reflect their unique history and honour the people that once called them home .
