BRACHERS CHOOSES CANTERBURY
FOR ITS LEGAL EXPANSION
South East law firm Brachers
has demonstrated its
commitment to serving the
businesses and residents of
East Kent by announcing it
is to open a large office in
the heart of Canterbury.
The move, which coincides
with the firm’s 125th
anniversary, will see it
expand into a 24,8 00ft2
office in Watling Street, with
enough space for 22 private
client and commercial
lawyers, two meeting rooms
and a large boardroom.
The office will be led by Lee
May, a partner with more
than 16 years’ experience
advising businesses,
developers, landowners and
local authorities. Lee will be
supported by James Bullock, a partner and head of corporate and commercial;
Alexandra Gordon, a private client partner specialising in tax and estate
planning; and Antonio Fletcher, an employment partner specialising in
education and the SME sector.
Joanna Worby, managing partner at Brachers, which has its head office in
Maidstone, said: “The time is right for us to make this significant investment
to support our growing client base. In today’s highly competitive legal world,
firms need to be more aware of their clients’ needs, and to be agile to
opportunities while remaining focused on delivering the best possible service.
“Operating from Canterbury and Maidstone means we will be perfectly placed
to serve our clients across the whole of Kent and Sussex, as well as in London.”
The Canterbury office, which will be located at 20-22 Watling Street, CT1
2AN, is due to open in the spring.
From iconic castles and animal close encounters, to
afternoon teas and adrenaline-inducing activities,
there are over 33,000 tickets up for grabs, making
the Kent Big Weekend the perfect excuse to get out
and discover exactly what makes the Garden of
England so special.

TRUSTED SERVICE AWARD
TERRY WALSBY
LUCY TIER
Tunbridge Wells-based Easybook Training, which offers construction businesses
the facility to search and book thousands of safety training courses nationwide,
has received Feefo's new Platinum Trusted Service Award as it celebrates its
10th anniversary in business.
Established in 2010 by Terry Walsby and Lucy Tier, Easybook works with
hundreds of approved training providers nationwide to offer a wide range of
courses including First Aid, CITB, IOSH, NEBOSH, CPCS, IPAF & PASMA
and has been working with Feefo, an independent review platform to show
potential new customers “real reviews” and instil confidence when booking
courses with them, since 2015.
For the last three years, Feefo has awarded Easybook with it’s Gold Trusted
Service prize, but last week it received the brand new Platinum Trusted Service
Award for customer service, which is only awarded to companies that have
achieved the Gold award (awarded to those who have collected at least 50
Feefo reviews in a year, and have achieved an average score of at least 4.5)
for three consecutive years.
Terry Walsby, MD at Easybook Training, said: “We are thrilled to have
picked up this accolade by Feefo. It recognises how hard we’ve been working
over the years to give great experiences to all our customers, who are the most
important judges of what we do.”
