GlassBox Theatre is Medway’s newest theatre & cinema venue. King Lear We're a diverse, affordable and accessible venue, featuring quality highly acclaimed productions from theatre companies from all over the UK.   We screen the entire season of the National Theatre Live programme, play host to some of the best family shows, loved by all ages and we present some of the hardest hitting theatrical productions you’ll find locally and to top it all off, we throw in a good measure of comedy to give our audiences that feel good feeling.   We want to provide a venue that can be loved and used by all and as such have a programme that is wide and varied and will have something to suit all tastes.   Based on the Medway campus of MidKent College, we are lucky to offer audiences free on-site parking as well as a venue that is fully accessible, including step free access and aids for the hearing impaired. Our venue is headed up by a small team of industry professionals, who work with the students of MidKent College to provide a safe training environment for those planning to make careers within the creative industry and we do this all whilst maintaining an efficient, polished operation & enjoyable experience for the public. Community focused, we always keep affordability at the forefront of our programming choices, with some of our cinema screenings being as little as £1 a ticket, so we have something to suit all budgets too.
