has room for 140 skaters. Delivered by iSkate, the
firm behind ITV’s Dancing on Ice, it has been
aptly named Canterbury on Ice. Open every day
from 29 November to 1 January, except Christmas
Day, you can book a 45-minute skating slot for you
and the family. Skate from 10am to 9pm at weekends
and during the school holidays (other opening
times vary).

featuring a huge Christmas tree in the centre, allows

As part of the White Cliffs Christmas Ice-travaganza,
the Old Marine Station will be transformed into a
winter wonderland. The hugely popular undercover
real ice rink is back, measuring a huge 400m2 this
year, so skaters can enjoy the atmosphere and
excitement of gliding on real ice without worrying
about the weather. Father Christmas and his elves
will be there too, along with over 30 market stalls
offering festive treats and gifts.
