twinkling fairy lights and festive Christmas trees.
And what better way to celebrate the start of the
festive season than by visiting some of the most
spectacular Christmas lights around our county. decorated by children from six Ashford primary
schools, as it makes its way down Bank Street to the
Lower High Street, where it will all end with a bang;
with a night market selling hot food and drink, it is
the perfect family evening.

Ashford Illuminites
Although not strictly Christmas lights, enjoy a host
of special illuminations in Ashford beginning on
on Friday 6th December. Be wowed by Glow
International (4.30, 5.30 & 6.30pm Friday 6th &
Saturday 7th December), a-five minute digital
mapping projection on the side of International
House, Dover Place; celebrating Ashford’s rich
heritage and history with food available in the new
Coachworks. Be dazzled by the enchanting and
magical Winter Forest (3pm -8pm Friday 6th &
12pm - 8pm Saturday 7th December), a trail of
illuminated Ashford-themed trees dotted around the
town centre and Elwick Place, showcasing the town’s
rich history, famous landmarks, and illustrious
residents. Be amazed by the Carnival of the Baubles
(5.30pm Saturday 14th December), as you witness
a spectacular procession of giant, illuminated baubles,

Bluewater welcomes back its iconic illuminated
reindeer this Christmas, as part of its fantastic
Christmas lights display. Joined by new Nutcracker-
themed decorations, these Christmas lights and
decorations are a must see this festive period.
A must see event for people of all ages! The sights
and sounds of Christmas awaits under unique
canopies at the Bedgebury National Pinetum trail.
The tree-tops glisten and shimmer, drenched in
seasonal colour at this truly breath-taking festive
adventure.
The Towering Tunnel of Light twinkles with
thousands of pea-lights as you walk into a world
festooned with seasonal cheer. Waterside reflections
are created by hundreds of colourful boats as they
bob on the shimmering lake, and flickering flames
of the scented Fire Garden create a perfect moment
of tranquil reflection. Take a moment to pause at
the Water Fountain Finale, as jumping jets of light
dance in time across the water to much-loved
