With country partners, it has cared for 40,000 patients and provided training for 20,000 health care professionals from all over Central and Eastern Europe since it was established by Tunbridge Wells resident, Graham Perolls CMG, OBE, in 1991. The Kent-based charity currently supports home care services in twelve different locations across southeast Europe. These are desperately needed as there is little or no help provided by the state for people requiring end of life care.
