HEALTH+WELLNESS
SEASONAL WELL-BEING CONT.
tells us how having access to nature on a daily and
weekly basis supports a healthy and happy life,
supporting your immune and hormone systems,
lowering blood pressure and supporting your mental
and emotional well being. It is also a lovely way to
spend time with friends, or connect with your family
2. Slow down: Make the right choices for you
and learn to say no:
We have a lot of fear around saying no, because we
are worried about offending and or disappointing
others. Often this only leads to more stress
and anxiety; promoting less rest and less self-care.
Creating boundaries for yourself will often provide
others with the chance to reflect on their demands.
And will allow you the freedom to change any
unhealthy patterns.
3. Get cosy, and invite the winter spirit into
your world:
Light fires and candles, spend time inside reading a
book, take long baths or perhaps get creative.
Creativity is something that lives within us all, each
moment of the day as humans we are creating a new
life on a cellular level. Choose something that you
have always wanted to explore without an end goal
or an expectation of perfection! Paint, draw, write,
sing and build…have some fun with this.
4. Create that winter pause with
holistic practises:
Enjoy holistic practices, such as yoga. Find a class
that particularly offers you the opportunity to work
with your breath and explore restorative yoga, yoga
nidra, and guided meditation and long relaxation.

your fight and flight mode and into a rest and digest
response. This helps to lower blood pressure, anxiety,
physical, and mental stress, leading you to create a
more harmonious and higher state of well being.
