OCCASION MAKEUP - THE CHRISTMAS PARTY For your Christmas party, get together, or even the big day itself, when you want to look glam and feel good, it’s all about the eyeliner this year. One of the 126 most exciting looks has to be the perfect winged liner, and although it’s not something that might come naturally, with plenty of practice (and you still have time!), you can look stunning. As a professional makeup artist the most common question - and the one I was dreading learning and practicing! - is how to create the ‘perfect winged liner’. To really get the look, you need to have cotton buds to hand and a bit of concealer to correct any mistakes (because we all make mistakes), and then you’re able to create a perfected look with no problem! Top tips for perfecting your winged liner look: • Be confident • Less is more • Practice makes perfect Find the eyeliner and brush you are most confident using and practice with that at first, and then try different products until you find one you love! For use on myself I like a liquid pen and on my clients I use an eyeliner gel and tiny liner brush.
