SKATE Tunbridge Wells // 15 Nov - 5 Jan
From 15th November, Calverley Grounds will be transformed into the ultimate
winter destination, signalling the start of the festive season. SKATE Tunbridge
Wells returns for 2019 with stylish skating, festive food and drink, music and
Christmas spirit. There will be a very exciting addition this year with a SECOND
rink. Dedicated to two to four year olds, the special tiny tots rink, kindly sponsored
by Childrensalon, will be open all day from 10am with the last session at 5pm
daily. There will also be Bavarian Curling, a traditional German ice game
somewhere between curling and bowls, on the smaller rink from 6pm. So come
and show your skills and aim for the leaderboard, whether beginner or professional,
at the only place in the south east to offer this game.

Christmas at Bedgebury // 22 Nov - 30 Dec (selected dates)
It's definitely the most w onderful time of year when the after-dark, sparkling
trail, lights up once more, on a one-mile path winding magically through Bedgebury
National Pinetum. The treetops will glisten and shimmer, drenched in seasonal
colour, on this festive adventure in a world of trees. The sights and sounds of
Christmas await under unique canopies, with new installations rising high into
the night sky. A dynamic Vortex Tunnel leads onto colour changing and immersive
ribbons of light; waterside reflections will be created by hundreds of colourful
boats, as they gently bob on the shimmering lake; whilst flickering flames, from
the scented Fire Garden, will create a perfect moment of tranquil reflection. To
those who have been bef ore, rest assured, the to wering Tunnel of Light will
twinkle yet again with thousands of pea-lights, as you walk into a world festooned
with seasonal cheer. Take a moment to pause at the Water Fountain Finale, as
jumping jets of light dance in time acr oss the water to much-loved Christmas
classics. Don't forget to glimpse Father Christmas and his elf amongst the pines,
spruce and firs along the way.

ITV’s resident doctor, Dr Ranj, and Eastenders’ Jenna Russell return to their
Kentish roots to take to the stage alongside Marlowe legends Lloyd Hallett and
the award-winning Ben Roddy, for this year’s family fun-filled pantomime, Mother
Goose. Written and produced once more by Paul Hendy of Evolution Productions,
