HAUNTFEST 2019
FINALISTS ANNOUNCED FOR GO TO PLACES
KENT TOURISM AWARDS 2019
Over 180 applications were received from
tourism businesses across the county and
have been considered by an independent
panel of judges. The selected finalists are
now in the hands of mystery shopping judges
to determine the winners who will be
announced at a ceremony later this year.
The winning businesses will then also be
eligible to proceed to the national awards
from VisitEngland.
The Kent Tourism Awards scheme, now in
its third year, was devised by destination
management organisation Go To Places –
who deliver Visit Kent. This year, the Awards
programme aligns with the recently refreshed
Visit England National Tourism Awards.
The new format reflects innovations across
England’s tourism industry including the
impact of digital technology, the growing
demand for experienced-based travel
and tailoring tourism products and services
that cater for international visitors
whilst celebrating quality, innovation and
best practice.
