Trinity’s academic results regularly place it among
the top schools in the country. In 2018 Trinity was
ranked 40th in the Sunday Times Parent Power list
of Top 100 Independent Schools in the UK, making
it the top-ranked independent school in Croydon
for the third consecutive year. We were also
shortlisted for Senior School of the Year at the TES
Independent School Awards 2019. drama, we also offer activities including Lego robotics,
beekeeping and special effects model making. We have an outstanding reputation for excellence
in sport and high participation rates across all levels.
We are proud of the international, district and county
honours achieved by our pupils and teams across a
wide range of sports including football, hockey,
rugby, swimming, cricket and water polo. We admit boys from the age of 10 and welcome girls
into our sixth form. Students come from a wide
geographical area and around half benefit from the
Whitgift Foundation’s generous bursary scheme and
our scholarship awards.
Beyond academic results, we are a welcoming, diverse
and friendly community in which our students feel
cared for and supported. Our students achieve some
of the best academic results in the country, but are
also actively encouraged to take up the wealth of
opportunities we offer outside the classroom. As well
as traditional pursuits including sport, music and Our music department is one of the best known in
Britain and pupils can take part in over 50 different
ensembles. We received the Pro Corda Special Award
for Schools for our ‘outstanding contribution’ to
chamber music playing and, in 2012, became
London’s first All-Steinway secondary school. Our
internationally acclaimed Trinity Boys’ Choir Come along to our Open Morning on Saturday 5
October 2019 (9am-12noon). You can also see the
school during one of our small group tours that take
place during the autumn and summer terms (please
book your place by phone). Our Sixth Form Open
Evening takes place on Monday 14 October 2019
