Gallery Seventeen has evolved into a
comprehensive art centre near Beckenham
Junction. Not only is there a wide range of local
and international art, ceramics designed and
made on the premises, and a picture framing
workshop, you can also realise your artistic talents
learning to paint, or to make ceramics in the
teaching studio. Turner Contemporary is one of the UK’s leading
art galleries. Situated on Margate seafront, on
the same site where Turner stayed when visiting
the town, Turner Contemporary presents a rolling
programme of temporary exhibitions, events and
learning opportunities that make intriguing links
between historic and contemporary art. Located in Margate Old Town, Lombard Street Gallery
represents a diverse and eclectic range of artists and makers.
The gallery works with professional local, national and
international artists to bring visitors the best in handmade
and handcrafted products. It aims to support independent
individuals and companies who produce fairtrade items
that are made in the UK.
