works all over the UK and EU. The idea
is tha t it supports artists w ho ar e
attempting to create something that will
bring about c hange to e veryday lives.
There is a dedicated activities programme
that offers personal development, plus the
charity provides both per manent and
temporary spaces to the cr eative
community. Engage supports art educators, organisations and artists
to work with communities across the country, providing
space to have dynamic, open exchanges – it means that
everyone can have the opportunity to lear n and benefit
from the arts. Art Refuge UK was estab lished in 2006. T he charity
works through art and art therapy with people who have
been displaced due to war , per secution and po verty.

Engage was once known as the National Association for
Gallery Education, and it no w represents gallery and
visual art educa tion professionals in over 20 countries
across the world.
There is an excellent team of artists and therapists who
have the skills and experience to deliver culturally relevant,
exciting, dynamic programmes. They work across the
world, and within the UK, and can adapt
their work to respond to current events.
