We don’t have a waiting list therefore we can offer speedy access to our service, leading to quick results and putting your mind at rest and enabling you to continue with the most appropriate treatment pathway for your condition, if required. The Endoscopy service at One Ashford Hospital is fully integrated, so we can organise each step of your journey with us from booking your appiontment, pre assessment, procedure, discharge and follow-up. Your Consultant will discuss the outcome of your endoscopy with you at the time of the procedure, and if required, will also see you for a follow-up appointment to discuss any other tests which may be required. We understand that many people are apprehensive about being referrred for an endoscopy, so we always try and make your experience as smooth and relaxed as possible. Our service is led and delivered by experienced Consultants and nurses in the fields of Gasteroenterology and Colorectal and Gasterointestinal Surgery. Our Consultant Endoscopy team is led by Mr Thanesan Ramalingam, Consultant Colorectal surgeon, along with Anita Hodgson who heads up the nursing team.
