Far from resting on their BBQ laurels, the team take taste yet another step further adding in an array of well thought out and very tasty starters, nibbles and side dishes, as well as powerful sauces such as homemade ketchup, bbq sauce and mayonnaise that really captivate the taste buds and elevate the entire BBQ dining experience. As they say themselves: “A barbecue it not complete without the perfect harmony of the sides, nibbles and sauce flavours. Zingy crunchy slaw, comforting mac n’ cheese, hand-cut chips, chorizo sausages, fruity chicken wings, homemade ketchup and barbecue sauces! Prepare yourselves for a tasty sensation!” We became so hungry once Martin explained his menu (while we sampled The Bull's potent 'Adult Lemonade') that we promptly devoured spicy beef sausage – plump and juicy with warming hints of spices, and the spicy bean nachos with raclette cheese – the tastiest, crispest nachos we've had the pleasure of eating in a very long time. The only thing that slowed us down slightly was the powerful chilli kick of the Korean-fried chicken wings smothered in sweet chilli sauce, spring onions and sesame seeds; they were moist, perfectly cooked and packed a huge punch from a small cut. The ‘Bull Dog’, a hotdog with smoked brisket chilli bean sauce, Monterey Jack cheese, gherkins and wild boar pancetta was a sensation; smoked pulled pork in a brioche bun heaving with rich barbecue sauce was so popular it was shared around the table; and the 12-hour slow-cooked smoked beef rib melted in the mouth adding layer on layer of smokey flavour. Simply divine with sides of hand- cut chips, homemade sauces, kimchi and slaw completing the show. taste and texture, the soft dark chocolate mousse arriving on top of a bed of crushed pistachios and popping candy with a side of smoked vanilla ice cream and tart sea buckthorn gel.
