the family business. “Macknade has actually been
around since 1847, w hen my g reat, g reat, g reat
grandfather moved to the area to farm and manage
the wider Sondes esta te,” he commented. “Back
then, it was one of the region’s leading growers and “Today, we have one of the lar gest delicatessen
counters in the country, selling over 200 varieties of
cheese, a fantastic butcher specialising in pasture-
fed meat, and a grocery and greengrocers stocking
thousands of carefully selected products. After you’ve
worn yourself out shopping, you can visit our on-
site café, which serves breakfast, brunch and lunch
platters cr eated using the fantastic ing redients
available in our food hall.”
