Spotlight on Greensand Ridge
We are proud to work with artisan Kent gin distillery, Greensand Ridge, who
supply us not only with gin, but also with incredible tasting rum (our top summer
tip for great cocktails).
Will Edge founded Greensand Ridge in 2016, with a desire to create craft gin
using locally foraged botanicals and surplus Kent fruit rejected by supermarkets.
Nearly three years later, their historic barn houses beautiful copper stills, wooden
barrels, tanks and an end-to-end bottling and labelling line. They may be small,
but their ambitions are big, and we are proud to offer our customers a gin that’s
local, award winning and of such great quality.

Lamb is the order of the day in spring, and we are
incredibly lucky to source ours from Wye Community
Farm. The heritage breeds of Poll Dorset and
Portland sheep graze on the lush grass of the Wye
Downs, just above the village. Our Head Chef, Carl
Jordan, is passionate about the advantages of working
with local suppliers like Wye Community Farm:

with walks along the North Downs Way right on the

the first Saturday of the month. Venturing further
afield, we are within easy reach of historic Canterbury,
seaside Whitstable and the Eurotunnel to France and
Belgium. All this, and just an hour from London via
