EVENTS JET SKIS AND SUPERCARS AT LEEDS CASTLE’S MOTORS BY THE MOAT 11TH & 12TH MAY The incredible Motors by the Moat returns to Leeds Castle on the 11th and 12th May, and this year for the first time ever there will be motors on the moat! Alongside a lineup of impr essive vintage, high- performance and classic cars on display around the Castle grounds, to celebrate the Castle’s 900th year, visitors will also be treated to jaw-dropping daily Jet Ski displays on the moat. The cars on display will be split into nine e xciting new categories in celebration of this landmark year for the Castle, and visitors will be ab le to vote for their favourites which will be announced b y two expert motoring journalists acting as judges for this fantastic event. This is a super da y out f or the w hole family and everyone will enjoy watching in awe as the world- class Jet Ski fr eestyle team perf orm on the wa ter and demonstrate backflips, spins and huge aerial tricks on their custom-made carbon fibr e Jet Skis. Powered with high hor sepower engines to ensur e an incredible performance, the Jet Skis will also be on displa y thr oughout the w eekend to pr ovide spectators with the opportunity to see them up close and meet the freestylers. 30 Elsewhere, visit the wartime ar ea and enjoy a cup of tea from the NAAFI wagon whilst getting up close to some fascinating military vehicles. Dealerships will be exhibiting their newest luxury models and there will be opportunity to pick up some car accessories from a variety of trade stands. Leeds Castle’s landmark year celebrates nine centuries of histor y, dating back to 1119 w hen Robert de Crevecoeur built the first stone castle on the estate.
