SPORTING EXCELLENCE AT KENT COLLEGE
Kent College has an impressive reputation
for sporting excellence with both
individual students and school teams
regularly competing at county and
national level. Current rising stars include
Adam Lee Browne, selected for the
England U18 National hockey squad;
Teigan Sullivan, Kent Schools' Junior
girls Cross Country Champion; Grace
Patterson, selected for the U17 London
Pulse Netball squad; Hugh Scott, for
cricket representing the London and East
squad in the ECB U17 England
Development Programme; Harry Foulds-
Brant, the current 1.10m individual show
jumping champion at the NSEA Plate;
and Leo Norwood, who won the Pony
club Triathlon National Qualifier in the
under 16 boys class.
Hockey and cricket are particular
strengths at Kent College. Specialist
coaches include Australian International
and Head Coach at Canterbury men’s
hockey club, Craig Boyne, and the KC
Director of Cricket, ex-Kent cricketer and
county academy coach, Darren Scott.

a Riding Centre and offers horse riding
lessons, and the opportunity for students
to take part in NSEA competitions, as
part of its sports programme.
There are over 60 different clubs and
activities on offer, giving pupils the
opportunity to participate in football,
badminton, basketball, rugby and tennis
or to try archery, fencing, rowing and
yoga. KC aims to provide something for
every pupil in the school – from
recreational sport and promoting fitness
to top-level coaching for elite players.
Kent College has a long tradition of
recognising and rewarding outstanding
ability by awarding scholarships for Sport.
Scholarships are designed to attract
talented pupils from all backgrounds who
would benefit from the unique educational
experience offered by Kent College.
Scholarships are offered to pupils at Year
7, Year 9 and Year 12.
