MUCH MORE THAN A FIRST-CLASS SPORTS HUB
K SPORTS COBDOWN IS ONE OF KENT’S MOST
EXCITING NEW VENUES. PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS
COBDOWN SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB, SINCE ITS
RELAUNCH TWO YEARS AGO, K SPORTS HAS CREATED
QUITE A BUZZ ACROSS THE COUNTY.
As an award-winning sports facility, K Sports
caters to the masses, from the elite
sportsperson to the grassroots community.
With a 3G and multiple grass football pitches,
a full-size artificial hockey pitch, squash courts
and a brand-new Technogym, Kent now has
a multi-sport venue to pack a punch.
Besides offering a home to K Sports clubs, the
28-acre site is now the base for the likes of
Ebbsfleet United, Dover Athletic and Saracens,
and has welcomed groups from across the
world – from America to Ascension Island –
this summer.
Not only an impressive sports hub, K Sports
is growing a reputation for it’s equally
impressive events setup. Offering a flexible
and modern space, events from business
conferences and meetings to private parties
and wedding receptions tak e place at K Sports.
Not to mention ‘K Events’ from comedy nights
to live music bashes, which are becoming a
regular sell-out occurrence.

Plans for the bank holiday week show just
how far the venue has come in a short space
of time with three packed days offering a little
something for everyone, no matter what
their age.
Kickstarting on Friday 24th August, over
100 tickets have already been sold for Garage
Night. K Sports’ resident DJ will be playing
the finest in current and old-school garage
from the likes of DJ Luck & MC Neat, DJ Pied
Piper, Craig David and many more for just £5
per person.
The following day, K Sports opens its doors
from 2pm for their annual Summer Sizzler.
After last year’s scorching success, you can
enjoy a day for the whole family including
outdoor games, live bands, a DJ, BBQ, face-
painting, inflatables and more.
This event is free, and with plenty of
complimentary parking on site and the local
Ayelsford train station just a short five-minute
walk away, there’s no better way to make the
most of the final bank holiday weekend of
the year.
The grand finale sees K Sports team up with
Kent Soul Nights to host a free Soul Sizzler,
bringing together the best line up of soul
DJs seen in Kent for years. During the day,
visitors can enjoy fantastic soul music and
delicious food served with drink stalls and
plenty of outdoor seating to chill and dance
with friends and family. Soul fans will
recognise names from the incredible line up
of Colin Hudd, Aadil Rasheed, Jason Anderson
and Mark Rudd.
From 8pm, the party turns up a notch with
the legendary Greg Edwards hosting an after
party for just £10 a ticket.
