MARGATE ROCK AND BLUES FESTIVAL // 12 MAY MOTORS BY THE MOAT // 12-13 MAY
Many consider Margate Rock & Blues their gig of the year and this year’s
all-dayer brings together four amazing headline acts for the price of
one and a quarter. The Rutles, Gemo Washing and the Ram Jam Band,
Kokomo and John Ottway will all be playing.

programme of live stunt shows, parades and hundreds of vintage, high
performance and classic cars on the lawns. New for 2018, watch Terry
Grant, international stunt driver and multiple world record holder in a
brand new jaw-dropping stunt routine set against the magnificent
backdrop of the castle. See the cars in action and listen to them roar as
they parade down the main drive with expert commentary. Take a selfie
with Mater and Lightning McQueen lookalike cars. There will be mini
fairground rides for children to enjoy and rides in an RAF Red Arrows
simulator for those brave enough. Visit the wartime area and enjoy a
cup of tea from the NAAFI wagon while getting up close to some
fascinating military vehicles.
