Not your normal Easter egg hunt! Make some special family memories this Easter – hop through the beautiful grounds following the trail of the Lindt gold bunny to claim your delicious chocolate treat. Find the magic; find the Lindt gold bunny! Activities include: Lindt Gold Bunny Hunt, Easter bonnet craft workshop, Easter best bonnet parade, and a castle quiz. Celebrate spring by making and decorating an Easter bonnet at daily craft workshops then show off your creation in a parade in front of the castle with prizes for the best bonnets. Put your thinking cap on with a fun quiz in the castle about the history of Easter and the traditions of the season. As well as the Easter-themed activities, a visit to Hever Castle in spring offers a great chance to explore the stunning gardens. Visitors can enjoy a dazzling display of spring blooms from late-flowering daffodils to hyacinths, camellias and tulips.

Easter‘ Eggs-travaganza’ at Whitefriars // 30 Mar-8 Apr
There’ ll be a whole host of‘ eggstraordinary’ children’ s activities going on at Whitefriars this Easter. The Canterbury shopping centre’ s Easter‘ Eggstravaganza’ event runs from Friday 30th March to Sunday 8th April( excluding Easter Sunday), from 11am to 4pm, in Whitefriars Square. Admission is free. There’ ll be an Easter egg trail, cupcake decorating, face painting, arts and crafts, stories, bunny boogie music / dance sessions and more, plus regular appearances from the Easter bunny himself!
Pick up an entry form from the marquee to join in the Easter treasure trail. Find the missing words in shop windows around the centre and unscramble them to create an Easter message. Everyone who submits a correct entry will receive an Easter treat and there’ s a lovely chocolate bunny for the winner! Come along dressed as your favourite Easter character for a chance to win an egg-citing prize in the Easter fancy dress competition to be held on 31st March at 2.30pm. There’ s four places in the special‘ bunny brunch’ to be held the following week up for grabs, plus all entrants will receive an Easter egg.

This Easter, The Canterbury Tales visitor attraction will reopen the gates to its Medieval Story Garden. In recent years, the garden has become a popular destination for families during the Easter and summer school holidays, offering a range of fun activities to keep young visitors entertained. Entry to the Medieval Story Garden is included in The Canterbury Tales standard admission price. Guests listen to tales told by costumed storytellers, discover medieval medicine techniques, complete a‘ Knight School’ quest, and get the opportunity to perform for friends and family at a maypole dancing session.
