JAKE BUGG: THE SOLO ACOUSTIC TOUR // 7 MAR
Wednesday 7th March 2018 will see the Jake Bugg – Solo Acoustic Tour come to Margate’ s Winter Gardens as part of his spring UK tour. The announcement comes in the wake of his most recent album,‘ Hearts That Strain’ going into the top ten upon release and just ahead of his sold out UK tour in November.‘ Hearts That Strain’ saw Jake work with Grammy award-winning producer, David Ferguson and Matt Sweeney in Nashville, and recording with some of the best players in the history of popular music.

FASTLOVE – A TRIBUTE TO GEORGE MICHAEL // 8 MAR
ORCHESTRAL CONCERT // 11 MAR
The Stag Theatre is delighted to be welcoming back young trumpet virtuoso and former SSO member, Matilda Lloyd, for their concert of Italian delights comprising music either by Italian composers or inspired by Italy. Soloist in the 2016 BBC Proms and often to be heard on Radio 2 and 3, Matilda is currently a Park Lane Group Young Artist and will join the orchestra in Artun ' s famous Carnival of Venice and an Italian aria. You will be transported to the streets of Rome in Respighi ' s evocative symphonic poem, The Fountains of Rome, and Tchaikovsky ' s colourful Capriccio Italien. Berlioz ' s exciting Carnival Romain will get the concerto off to a high-spirited start.
