TRUSTEE CYCLES THREE CITIES
FOR KENWARD TRUST
Next year will be the 50th anniversary of Kenward
Trust's alcohol and drug treatment and rehabilitation
programmes which have helped people transform
their lives away from the misery of addiction,
homelessness and crime.
Taking part in one of the Kenward Trust's Challenge
Events is a great way to raise money whilst enjoying
a once in a lifetime experience. Jean-Pierre Darquee,
trustee of Kenward Trust, will be taking part in the 3
Cities Cycle Weekend event. This fantastic ride joins
three of Europe’s most historic cities: Dunkerque,
Bruges and Ypres.
Jean-Pierre said: "We are aiming to build up a team
of 20 cyclists and we hope for many more, with the
full support of bike mechanics and vehicles. The
timing for this ride is perfect as we will be
commemorating throughout 2018 the Century of the
Great War, Ypres will constitute the perfect location
to witness this. I hope many will join me and help
raise funds for Kenward Trust and it s profile in our
community.”

opportunity to tell him about the work we do
and the families enjoyed meeting him and
telling him about their own experiences. It is
lovely to have support from people like Phil,
who is a great ambassador for ellenor.”
ellenor does to support the local community.
The dedicated children’s team play a hugely
important role helping families through one
of life’s most difficult journeys. I am delighted
to support them as a patron and hope that I
will be able to assist the caring and committed
staff at ellenor to raise awareness of their
invaluable work.”
