Starring as the Wicked Queen is Jessie Wallace. Jessie has become a national treasure thanks to her performance as Kat Slater in the popular BBC soap EastEnders. No stranger to the stage, Jessie has appeared in the West End productions of Rent and Haunted as well as the 25th anniversary production of Stepping Out in the role of Sylvia. Jessie also starred as Matron Mama Morton in the UK tour of Chicago last year. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs marks Jessie’s third foray into pantomime having previously starred in Cinderella and Robin Hood, both for Qdos Entertainment. In her role as The Wicked Queen, Jessie will be joined by comedian and magician Pete Firman as Muddles and hilarious panto dame Jason Sutton as Nurse Nancy. Pete Firman is widely recognised as one of the UK’s leading comedian and magicians having starred in BBC1’s prime-time Saturday night 46 programme The Magicians and recently made special guest appearances on ITV1’s The Next Great Magician and Let’s Sing and Dance for Comic Relief. His skill for fusing magic and comedy has made him one of the most in demand magicians working on British television, writing and performing in magic shows such as Monkey Magic, Dirty Tricks, Derren Brown’s 3D Magic Spectacular and The Secret World of Magic. Jason Sutton, best known for his award- winning alter ego Miss Jason has been entertaining audiences across the country for over 15 years. Aside from his cabaret work, Jason is a pantomime regular having starred alongside the Jason Fletcher, Larry Lamb and the late Paul Daniels. His television credits also include The Weakest Link, Come Dine with Me, Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is and Sky1’s Chocky-Wocky-Do-Dah. On stage Jason also received rave reviews for his leading role of Terri in Peter Nichols’ Privates on Parade and starred in The Boys in the Band, directed by Christopher Biggins. Staged once again by Qdos Entertainment, the world’s biggest pantomime producer, and the team behind the last year’s record-breaking pantomime Peter Pan, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will feature all of the traditional pantomime ingredients Bromley theatregoers have now come to expect in a fantastic new production of the well-loved fairy tale.
