THE BUS COMPANY HAS INVESTED IN NEW CONTACTLESS TECHNOLOGY ENABLING CUSTOMERS TO MAKE FAST, EASY AND SECURE CASHLESS PAYMENTS ON THE BUS. Contactless payment went live on all Stagecoach services in Kent and East Sussex this week, pioneering the use of this technology outside of London. The new ticket machines accept payment by contactless enabled credit or debit card as well as Apple Pay and Android Pay. Stagecoach South East’s managing director, Philip Norwell, said: “We’re all used to paying with contactless for our morning coffee or lunch, and now we can use it to pay for bus 66 travel too.
