American Gods BY NEIL GAIMAN
American Gods is a truly original and
absorbing novel that combines
fantasy and the real world to create
something very special. It’s no
wonder that this book by superstar
author, Neil Gaiman has won awards
(including the Hugo and the Nebula).
The premise of the book is that the
old gods of myth and legend were
real and travelled to the new world
along with their immigrant
worshippers. But, their existence is
in peril as the old gods have to prove
their existence to the world. It’s a
harder job than any of them could
ever have realised.
