DUSK SAFARI // 1-30 JUNE ( WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY ONLY )
A unique opportunity to tour the African and Asian Experience at dusk . Arrive at the Port Lympne Hotel for an arrival drink at 5:45pm , greeted by your safari driver who will take you out in a safari truck for the African and Asian experience when the sun is setting ( depending on time of year ). After approx . one hour , guests will then return the hotel and enjoy a three-course meal in the Port Lympne Hotel .

LITTLE GARDENS OF SANDWICH // 4 JUNE
The allotments adjacent to St Clement ’ s Church will go on show alongside the glorious gardens of south east Sandwich at the annual Little Gardens of Sandwich . For the first time in the 35-year history of the event , anyone interested in growing their own produce will have the chance to wander around the central Sandwich allotments , ask questions of the owners , and hopefully be inspired to apply for their own little vegetable or fruit patch . However , the hundreds of garden lovers who attend every year will not be disappointed either as eight very different gardens set behind ancient walls of this charming medieval town will also be open .
After visiting the gardens and allotments , cream teas will be available in the St Clement ’ s Church Hall while a number of specialist plant nurseries will be located in the churchyard displaying and selling a wide variety of perennials , annuals , shrubs and herbs .

CHILDREN ’ S OPEN WATER SWIM SESSION // 3 JUNE OUT OF ORDER // 5-10 JUNE
Thetrilife . com will be hosting an open water swim session for 8-16 year olds with BTF Level 3 coach , Duncan Scott . Starting an open water triathlon / aquathlon with confidence is key for every competitor . The aim of the children ’ s open water swimming skills session is to provide the young athletes with advice and support to help them achieve this . This training session is ideal for children taking part in the Leeds Castle Aquathlon , or for those thinking of competing in the future .
