Holding two AA rosettes and being listed in the Michelin guide, Fish On The Green really is one of the best fish restaurants in the county. Everything is freshly prepared by the expert chefs, and as much of the produce as possible – fish and everything else – is sourced locally. The fact that Fish On The Green is located on what many consider to be the prettiest village green in Kent is a huge bonus, and makes eating here an even more unforgettable experience. Dishes found on the menu include pan-fried king prawns with chilli jam and roasted garlic oil; pan-fried fillet of sea bream with steamed asparagus, cockle and samphire dressing, and buttered Nicola potatoes; and pan-fried fillet of halibut on peas, bacon, spring onions and baby gem in a white wine velouté, served with sauté potatoes.
