AFTERNOON TEA & JAZZ AT RIVERHILL // 4, 10, 11 JUNE
Bring your friends and family to a
relaxed afternoon in a marquee in
The Walled Garden and you will be
able to enjoy upbeat jazz, a delicious
afternoon tea and spectacular views
across the Weald of Kent. The Jean
Bentley Dance Band will be playing
fondly remembered music from the
1930s and 40s, much associated
with the early dance bands. Its
players bring a classical feel to this
music, with a front line of strings
and woodwind, plus a trio of
saxophones, backed by a rhythm
section of piano, bass, drums and percussion. A mix of Dixieland, other
jazz styles and Latin dance music will be the perfect accompaniment
to afternoon tea.
