Stopping to smell the roses ... or in this case , lilies . Getting ready for the arrival of spring !
March is that wonderful month where we get little tasters of the season to come : buds on the trees , birds singing , more sunshine and a touch of warmth in the breeze . OK , so a touch of warmth may be wishful thinking , but no matter what ’ s going on outside , better weather is inevitable
( c ’ mon , Mother Nature ).
We ’ re as spring-positive as we can be this issue , celebrating with days outside ( p48 ), flirty fashion ( p71 ), gardening tips ( p96 ) and of course , we can ’ t forget Mum ! Mother ’ s Day falls on the 26th , and there ’ s plenty to do around Kent to show her you care . Or , if she ( and you ) would rather stay in , we ’ ve come up with some fantastic ways to enjoy your time together at home ( p60 ).
I think we can all agree that Kent is a fabulous place to live , but its greatness doesn ’ t stop at attractions , beaches and restaurants .
