The Giulia ' s handling is of course , stupendous , and the car ' s ride is exceptionally comfortable ; there is no doubt that this is a driver ' s car , giving you plenty of feedback from the road , but without trying to kill you in the process . The leather seats hug you as if they love you like a brother , and the driver ’ s position is one of the most perfectly placed I ' ve ever experienced in any car . Ever .
I especially liked the Alfa DNA Sensor . At the press of a button , this alters the car ' s dynamic behaviour according to the driver ' s selection : Dynamic , Natural , Advanced Efficiency ( a new energy efficiency mode ) and Race ( only on Giulia Quadrifoglio ). It controls a variety of settings , including those of the engine , suspension , steering , transmission , rear differential , instrument display , brakes and safety and driver assists , giving you an astonishing level of control !
The Giulia exposed and undid a lot of my preconceptions about the Alfa Romeo . It also confirmed a few of them . As I have always appreciated , Alfa builds beautiful , extraordinary cars , made for the most exquisite driving enjoyment . They construct these using a lot of expert engineering , a huge amount of artistic genius , and an infinitesimal measure of passion . The Giulia exhibits all of these qualities , and as such , is a magnificent car , worthy of your attention and test driving !
