The Ambrette The Ambrette opened in 2014 to high acclaim, and it has never disappointed. Chef Dev Biswal has created a menu that is light and delicious, and combines Indian and British cuisine in surprising and innovative ways. When visiting you can choose from dishes such as breast of wood pigeon smoked with cloves and marjoram and served with a pear crisp, medley of mushrooms stuffed with Kentish cream cheese and mango served with chickpea flour crisps and tropical fruits and medallion of goat with jasmine sticky rice.
Pinocchio’ s Traditional Italian food made with love is exactly what you will find at this superb Canterbury restaurant. The ingredients used in the fantastic dishes served at Pinocchio’ s come from both the local Kent area and Italy, so you can eat the best of both countries in one wonderful place. The menu includes fresh calamari deep fried and served with a salad garnish and garlic mayonnaise, calf’ s liver cooked in onions and red wine served with roasted potatoes and spinach and homemade tagliatelle with fresh scallops, king prawns, clams and mussels in a white wine sauce with a touch of cherry tomatoes.
