TERLINGHAM RISE

2, 3 AND 4 BED HOMES IN HAWKINGE, NEAR FOLKESTONE
THIS MONTH, PENTLAND HOMES LAUNCHED THE SECOND PHASE OF THEIR TERLINGHAM VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT IN HAWKINGE, NEAR FOLKESTONE. THIS NEW PHASE, TERLINGHAM RISE, FEATURES 47 CONTEMPORARY 2, 3 AND 4 BEDROOM HOMES.
With roots stretching back to the 1970s, Pentland Homes is extremely proud of its heritage as a Kent builder, and a great deal of that history is embedded in Hawkinge.
“ We are delighted to be launching a new development of family homes in Hawkinge,” says Pentland Homes’ managing director, Martin Hart.“ We have built over 500 homes here over the years, and we’ re always being asked when we’ re building in Hawkinge again! When we were a much smaller operation our Head Office was actually based in one of our homes in the village.”
Since then, Pentland Homes has seen unprecedented growth, catapulting from around 30 homes per year to over 100 in 2015 and 2016. This year, they are targeting 150.
“ Some of our previous purchasers in the area are looking to buy their second, third and sometimes fourth Pentland home, and we can’ t wait to unveil our latest product and show that our quality and finish that people have come to expect from us is even better than it’ s ever been,” says Hart.
All homes at Terlingham Rise will feature a high specification throughout, from integrated kitchen appliances, built-in wardrobes to master bedrooms and under-floor heating to the ground floor. Subject to build stage, purchasers are able to choose from a range of designer kitchen, bathroom and flooring finishes, as well as ironmongery and emulsion colours.
The development itself will feature attractive landscaping, a play area and ample visitor parking. Customers will be able to select from eleven different house types, from spacious, detached 4 bedroom family homes to welldesigned 2 and 3 bedroom homes, ideal for‘ rightsizers’ and first time buyers.
The first phase of the Terlingham Village development, Terlingham Gardens was launched in 2016, and is now over 40 % reserved. This gated area comprises of twenty
2 bedroom bungalows and 2 / 3 bedroom chalet-bungalows exclusively for the over 55s.
This phase features beautifully landscaped communal gardens and step-free access. Homes can be tailored to meet individual needs, depending on stage of build, with maintenance and care packages also available from window cleaning to personal care. There are currently two show bungalows available to view, demonstrating the spacious, openplan living on offer and stunning quality kitchens and bathrooms.
A show home is scheduled to open at Terlingham Rise in the spring.
