FLIP OUT TRAMPOLINING REVOLUTION COMES TO ASHFORD
GEEK IS BACK AND MOVING TO DREAMLAND MARGATE
One of the world’ s largest and most successful trampolining brands is coming to Ashford. Entrepreneurs Lisa and Steve Wootton are investing £ 1.5 million to launch Flip Out, the latest in what is now officially the fastest growing trampoline franchise in the world. The Ashford arena, which is expected to create up to 60 jobs, will be the first Flip Out to open in East Kent.
Lisa and Steve, who live in Kingsnorth, are transforming a 28,000 sq ft former packaging factory on Ashford’ s Henwood Industrial Estate to provide a cutting-edge leisure experience for all ages and abilities.
As well as featuring dozens of connected trampolines that will allow you to spring, trick or flip off the walls, Flip Out Ashford will boast thrilling stunt boxes, wall runners, slam dunks, dodgeball, a Ninja warriors course, fitness classes and plenty of other surprises.
“ We’ re very excited to be bringing the Flip Out trampolining revolution to Ashford,” says Lisa.“ Having often taken our two boys to trampoline parks, we wanted to launch our own venue that would be fun, healthy entertainment not just for kids but for the whole family. It’ s also perfect for couples, groups, and companies looking for a team-building experience with a difference.”
The UK’ s original pleasure park, Dreamland Margate, will be welcoming GEEK in 2017.
