Bowie celebration to mark 21 years of Create Festival in Ashford SATURDAY 23RD JULY, ASHFORD VICTORIA PARK, 11:30AM-9PM, FREE

One of the hottest free music festivals in Kent is celebrating turning 21 with a finale dedicated to the late, great David Bowie.

David Live!, one of the finest David Bowie tribute acts and covers bands in the UK will headline the free festival in July. From recreating Ziggy Stardust in’ 73, through to his Serious Moonlight Tour in’ 83, this authentic interpretation and performance will take you on a journey through the“ Golden Years” of Bowie! So put on your red shoes on and“ Let’ s Dance”, as for one night only we can all be“ Heroes”.

Festival-goers can expect four live music stages, family-fun activities and a firework finale, alongside a whole host of new additions for what will be Create’ s biggest event yet! With an Olympic Themed‘ Brazilian Birthday Bash’, a‘ Love Ashford’ zone with local, town-centre crafters and foodies, and the launch of a new park sculpture trail – visitors will be spoiled for choice.

Create will kick off the night before with a live warm up gig‘ Made In Kent’ at Revelation St Mary’ s, showcasing local bands Empathy Test, Phoebe Warden and O Mataeus.
