Pinocchio // 17 June

Sit in a Ferrari with dad and take a photo as a memory of your day( suggested £ 2 per person donation applies) or experience the world of motor sport at the track where Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button honed their skills in a kart simulator now owned by John Surtees(£ 2 donation to Henry Surtees Foundation). Children can take part in a free craft workshop and let off steam in the in the adventure playground and water maze, while visitors of all ages enjoy exploring car club displays and the award-winning gardens.

Hens & Gardens Show // 19 June
Great Comp Garden’ s Hens & Gardens Show will showcase the best breeders and poultry in the county at its celebration of hen-keeping in the home garden. Among the exhibitors on the day is Lorri Depreli of Cheeky Chicken’ s in Plaxtol who will be bringing her rarer, unusual birds such as Silkies, Polands and Thuringians. Surbiton Poultry will be bringing their pure breed, bantams and large fowls. The Kent Small Holders group will be onsite as will Nicola Smith with her Copper Black Marans and William Dyson with his Gold Laced Orpington’ s and Light Sussex Bantams. A host of other exhibitors will be showcasing poultry housing and specialist art. Lunches and teas will be served in the Old Dairy Tearoom on site.
