Winter Walks and The Wishing Tree // 27 Dec – 3 Jan
A Little Christmas Magic // 29 Dec
Wrap up and blow away the cobwebs, walk off the Christmas pudding and
take a stroll in the gardens where the warm red bark of the redwood trees
glows against the winter sky and fruits glisten in the frost. On the way up
to the Castle the yew topiary stands majestically and the Winter Garden
displays attractive and interesting colours and structures. For the more
energetic take a bracing walk round the Lake. Place New Year’s wishes
on the Wishing Tree and help make someone’s wish come true. Collect
your tag from the Information Centre and make a donation to the Make A
Wish Foundation. After your winter walk, warm up in the Moat Restaurant
where hot seasonal meals will be served, in the Castle with its welcoming
log fires, or head to the Hever Shop for some seasonal sale items.
From 10.30am. Price: £12.70 (children 5-15 £8)
