HAS LANDED IN BROADSTAIRS
The newly opened Fish and Beer in Broadstairs boasts eight exclusive craft beers, which are
otherwise unavailable on the supermarket shelves; there are three lagers ranging from its
house pilsner, which is brewed in Bavaria, Moritz; a premium lager from Barcelona; and the
Kona Longboard, a direct import from Hawaii.
The venue also has a double I.P.A, which it has
exclusive rights to from Norway; Lindermans
cherry Kriek, a sweet beer made from cherries;
and Paulaner, a wheat bier that to this day is still
governed by the Reinheitsgebot (the German
purity law), which states that only water, barley
and hops can be used in the production of
beer. Also on the menu is Brugse Zot Brune, a
brown beer direct from Belgium, along with
Troubadour Obscura, a very strong stout
with coffee and chocolate notes.
Along with the beers, there is a well-sourced,
single estate wine selection and, of course, the
option of a chilled G&T or similar!
As its name suggests, Fish and Beer offers
a small-plate range of seafood, from scallops
and tiger prawns to oysters and mussels. It
takes pride in its freshly prepared seafood paella,
available daily
