DISCOVERY SPORT RIDE AND DRIVE EVENT AT CHILHAM CASTLE
In the tranquil grounds of Chilham Castle, Barretts
Land Rover held a ride and drive event this
January to celebrate the launch of the new
Discovery Sport. Guests were invited along to
enjoy refreshments inside the great Castle, which
is now a beloved family home. Here, they could
take in the stature of the property and speak to
Barretts Land Rover staff about the new product.
After topping themselves up on pastries, guests
were taken for a 25-minute test drive to the top
of Chilham Park grounds, before taking the car
to the road and experiencing its full driving
capabilities.
The purpose of the event was to let customers
and prospects enjoy the vehicle outside of the
showroom and city environment, taking the
vehicle back to its roots and into the countryside.
Vehicles available to test drive on the day were:
Discovery Sport SE Tech Manual
Discovery Sport SD4 SE Tech Auto
Discovery Sport HSE Auto
Starting from £32,395, the new Discovery Sport
is the first in a new generation of Land Rover
SUV design. From the outside, we can see a
modern, relevant and compelling vehicle that
connects on an emotional level. As you move
into the cabin, you’ll find a stylish, versatile area,
which can convert to its comfortable 5+2 seating
at the press of a button.
A relaxing ride for the whole family, this vehicle
can transition from road to field – or wherever
your family adventure may take you. The drive
is further enhanced by a generous wheel
articulation, quiet engine, and innovative off-road
technologies such as Terrain Response®.
