Why not treat yourself to something very special?
The Duke William
You won’t be disappointed...
This foodie’s paradise can be found tucked
away in the picturesque village of Ickham.
Conveniently located between Sandwich and
Canterbury The Duke William is the perfect
escape from the cold British winter, with its
roaring log fire and warm, friendly
atmosphere.
After two years, the current owners of the
already well-renowned Duke William, have
given the interior an exciting contemporary
facelift whilst retaining its old world charm.
They have recently launched a new fine
dining menu designed to tantalise your taste
buds.
The menu has been created by new awardwinning Head Chef Michael Fowler. All
items on the menu are produced from scratch
by Michael and his team using only the finest
ingredients, sourced locally wherever possible.
As well as offering five varieties of bread,
freshly baked daily, there is also a delicious
selection of homemade ice creams and
sorbets.
There is an exquisite a-la-carte menu and a
tempting evening tasting menu which are
complimented by the impressive list of
handpicked fine wines.
Lunch time diners can enjoy an excellent
value set menu, or spoil themselves with the
full a-la-carte menu. A sophisticated take on
a traditional bar menu will tempt those
seeking a lighter lunch.
Don’t panic! The Duke’s famous Sunday
roasts are still available and tasting better
than ever. Booking is highly recommended.
On Friday evenings, live music played on a
baby grand piano entertains those drinking or
dining.
Recently nominated for ‘Best Restaurant’ in
this year’s Kent Taste Awards, the Duke is
now hoping to impress both local and national
food critics with its exciting new menus.
