PUBLIC VOTING NOW OPEN FOR THE 2015 TASTE OF KENT AWARDS
Produced in Kent’s prestigious
Taste of Kent Awards 2015 are
now in full swing. Public voting
officially opened on 1st October at
the awards' brand new launch
reception held at Winterdale
Cheesemakers’ cheese barn,
Wrotham.
The reception, sponsored by Moor
Organic Juice, brought together
previous winners, award sponsors,
and Kent foodies to celebrate its
11th year. Guests had the
opportunity to tour the cheese barn,
before enjoying canapés and a
drinks reception, with wine and
cider supplied by Kent’s Hush
Heath Estate.
James Beatton, a partner at Cripps
– the awards main sponsor –
comments: “Cripps is very proud
to be the main sponsor of the Taste
of Kent Awards again. Food and
drink is a key part of the Kent
economy and one of the main
sectors in our business. The awards
shine a light on both the sector and
the county and provide a showcase
for the quality of produce and
service on offer from the entrants.
I am sure that this year we will build
on the successes of previous
events. I can’t wait for the
judging/tasting day."
