Tentertainment // 4-6 July
One of Kent’s FREE music festivals, the aptly named
Tentertainment brings together the community in
order to present a two-day variety of superb live music
performances. CoCo and the Butterfields will finish
off this year's event, after great support from a mix
of national and local talent, including Rhonda and the
Great Unknown, The Sugar Sisters, The Funksters,
Robert Bearsby and his band, Thomas Ashby, and
Franky and the Jacks. Set in the picturesque historical
town of Tenterden, a hoard of great stalls will proudly
serve up the best Kentish produce, in a bid to ensure
the crowd is kept well refreshed while enjoying the
entertainment.

// 12 July
Leeds Castle will once again play host to the most
magnificent open air classical concert this summer,
and we, for one, will definitely be attending. This year's
fabulous day will feature the world-famous Royal
Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by John Rigby;
firm favourite, the Military Wives Choir; and newcomer,
the P&O Ferries choir – as seen on national TV. In
addition, impressive aerial displays, field guns, military
bands, and a stunning fireworks display will round off
the night perfectly. With picnic-seated tickets at £42,
this annual event is an absolute steal. Do not miss
